A Higher Standard, by Design
Eric learned the trade from the inside and left its volume side for the work he believed it should be. Kennedie came from aesthetic medicine, where nothing is finished until the detail is. In 2022 they founded Upcountry Luxe in Pickens, South Carolina, for the owners of Lake Keowee and the surrounding Upstate who hold their own things to the same standard.
Uncompromising, by Design
It begins with a conversation: what you own, how you use it, and what you want from it. A plan follows, fitted to the vessel or vehicle in front of us and to nothing else. The scheduling, the access, and the visit are arranged around you. We come to you, at the dock or in the driveway, and the work is done to the standard. When it is finished, you step back in.
Insured for the Way We Work
The work takes us onto private docks, into driveways, and into storage buildings, around assets of significant value. We carry comprehensive liability insurance covering on-property work and vehicle service. Documentation on request.
The People Behind the Standard
Eric
Co-Founder & Master Detailer
Eric is from Charleston and came to the Upstate for family. He learned the trade from the inside, on the volume side, and left it for the work he believed it should be. He set the standard Upcountry Luxe is held to and holds it himself: the consultation is with him, the plan is his, and every visit is under his hand from the first rinse to the finished coating. The lake and the cars built to be driven are his interests as much as his work. A graduate of the College of Charleston and a System X® certified ceramic coating installer.
Kennedie
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Kennedie, an Upstate native, spent several years in Charleston before returning home. She came to the work from aesthetic medicine, where nothing is finished until the detail is, and brought that discipline to the operation. Everything that surrounds the work is hers: the proposal, the scheduling, the products on the truck, and every message a client receives from the first reply to the last. She holds it to the same standard Eric holds the work.
What we hold to
We believe owning something well made carries an obligation to keep it well. That obligation should not fall on you. The boat on its lift and the car in the drive should be as they were the day you chose them, held there by people who understand what they are and what it took to have them.
Who Upcountry Luxe Is For
Owners who want one provider for the boat, the jet skis, and the cars, and a standard that holds from one season to the next. We come to know each vessel and vehicle, how it is used, and what it needs, and we keep it that way over years rather than visits. Our clients keep their boats at The Cliffs, The Reserve at Lake Keowee, and Stoneledge, and their cars in driveways across Pickens, Oconee, and Greenville counties. That standard is not compatible with volume. We chose craft over scale.
